Chloe's had yogurt since just before 7 months. She loves it! She goes crazy when she sees the yogurt container. She's had Yobaby, Yotoddler, chobani (both kid and adult flavors), and dannon vanilla.
DD is 6 months & pedi gave us the green light for pretty much anything we want. I'm holding off on meats, but started yogurt today (organic, whole milk, plain). She was not a big fan, so I'm going to mix a little in with her fruit tomorrow morning.
I think I just read on Wholesomebabyfood.com that yogurt is good at 8-10mos. Anyway, I felt fine starting yogurt a few days ago. I just used LF Greek yogurt and mashed some banana into it. Now that I know he likes it I'll get some WF yogurt for him.
I just gave DD her first taste of yogurt (she is 6 months today) and she loved it! I got this all-natural greek style yogurt because it was the only plain full-fat yogurt I could find and I mixed it with apples and pears that I pureed (I make my own baby food) and she loved it. I gave her a few spoonfuls of the yogurt on its own afterwards but it was a bit too tart for her, the face she made was hilarious. She took 2 more spoonfuls just to be sure, but it wasn't sweet enough without the fruit.
Re: 8 months and yogurt?
We started yogurt at 6 months after pedi gave her a-ok.
