please pray for friend's nephew {update}

in a nutshell, he was born with a heart defect that they knew couldnt be repaired. they were doing what they could to delay transplantation and for 7 years he did well. he had his first surgery over the summer to put in a shunt, which went well but a host of complications have kept him in the hospital most of the time since. the last few weeks have been especially hard, and today has been awful. they performed cpr for 25 minutes and for now his heart is stable but they dont think he'll make it through the night. hes maxed out on meds and "theres nothing else they can do". i cannot even wrap my brain around this. please keep them in your prayers.

{update} he is still fighting as of 4 hours ago.. trying to wake up, responsive pupils. continued prayers that he pushes through this. people amaze dr's everyday with what they overcome, hope evan does, too!
