Maternity Photo Session?

Has any one had or are thinking of having a maternity photo shoot? I'm planning to have one soon but I have no idea of what style to go for.

Mind sharing some of your pictures?

I'm having mine done this weekend. I'll probably post up my picts when I get them back. I'm going for pictures like these though... I want outdoors type pictures, I'll have very limited bare belly shots

Oh those are really cute! Yeah, dont forget to post some when you get them back from your photographer.

I'm having two sessions. One it'll just be myself and the other of course with DH. So I'm just having trouble on what style to do for the one by myself.

i never did one with my first and really wish i had. i make an effort to take my own photo every week with this one, like i said i really wish i would have done this with my first.

this time i'm going to do the maternity session and we'll have a few with hubby, our son and some of just me and the belly.

Sure will! My friend is the one taking them... she's kind of a "hobby" photographer but has done weddings and all. Since she's doing them for free as my friend I'm taking her up on the offer

DH and I are having them taken later today. I'm just going to let the photographer use her "creative license" because I'm not really sure what I want. I do know that I don't want any bare belly ones and DH doesn't like the "heart with the hands" on the belly ones (but I do, so we'll probably get a shot like that anyway).

Mine aren't online but one thing we did that I liked was my photographer brought a container of wooden blocks. We spelled out baby against my belly, there is a picture of DH holding "dad" and another of me holding "mom".

haha no problem! And those aren't me, but what I'm kind of hoping for with my picts. I'll be sure to post some of mine when I get them back

thanks for posting some inspiration! i'm not having mine done until 36 weeks but I'm starting to collect ideas on pinterest for my photographer.

I also will be doing mine outside and am not crazy about the bare belly- i'm loving these!

Yeah I have a whole board on pinterest that I've made just for maternity pictures. We're unfortunately rained out this weekend so I'm movin my picts back to next week (I'll be 35 weeks then)
