I've been dying for a Disney fix! We are headed back for a quick trip for Gavin's birthday next month- just DH and me and him. I got totally lucky this week and managed to snag a Pirate Room- they were all out last week but someone must have cancelled before I called back this week. Also got dinner reservation w/ the Pooh Characters at Crystal Palace. I can't wait to surprise him.

So much fun!!!! I had a friend stay in the pirate rooms back in october. She said her kids loved it. Have fun!

A Pirate room sounds so fun! I hope y'all have a great trip. Owen is already talking about going again and we just went in December. Crazy Disney kids!

Oh he is going to LOVE that!! When it's time for us to go back I know C would love a pirate room. I can't believe he is going to be 4!

We're going to Disneyland at least twice next month...including feb 29 because it's open 24hrs that day.

I'm taking DD next week right before I go back to work from maternity leave. I'm excited to take her again, but also sad to be leaving the baby with DH for a few days. I'm kind of tearing up about it just writing this! But DD LOVES Disney SO much, and it's so much fun to see her reaction to it all at this age.....I just have to take advantage of the opportunity to take her again while she's still little and so crazy about it. Funny, when I booked our trip there were pirate rooms available, it just didn't register with me taking a girl. Hindsight, I shoulda booked one!

Ha! We did this last year too for my last week of maternity leave. Although we took both kids. We had lots of help though... my mom and BIL and SIL all came along. I don't think we would have had much fun if we hadn't had all that extra help! Plus it was surprisingly cold that week and ended up wearing Sophie in the Moby the entire time in the parks so my back was killing me. You're much better off leaving the little one at home.
