cvs / quad screen testing

I am supposed to go in on the 18th to get the quad screen testing / cvs done. For about the last week or so I have been unsure if I want to do it or just wait until baby is born. I have been reading that it is more often recommended for women over 35 (I am 30 and husband is 33) and/or family history.

Any advice either way? Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, why are you having a CVS done at the same time as the quad screen? Usually, the CVS is done only after the quad screen shows something that requires further investigation. I had the quad screen done, but there was no mention of doing a CVS. Personally, I wouldn't consider the CVS with the potential risk of miscarriage unless the blood test had shown up something serious.
