Mom haircut

I have been growing out my hair for three years and I swore I wouldn't cut it when I had my baby.  Well Chase is 8 months old, and I have gotten tired of him pulling on it, my hair getting in the way when I nurse him, and it even getting caught in the car door.  I almost always have it braided, just to keep it out of the way.

I just went and cut it.  I had 13" which I donated to Locks-of-Love.  I like my new cut, and DH is happy because I told him I was going to get a pixie cut, but decided to keep a little bit of length.

    WOW! What a difference! I did the same thing. I got about 8 inches cut off for the same reason!

    I cut off about 18" in August.  I miss my hair, but I don't miss it smelling like spit up!  DS loved pulling on and sucking on my hair since the day he was born, and even when I braided it, he managed to make it nasty!  I'm not sure whether I want to start growing it out again (just to cut it when we have our next child?) or keep it shoulder length.

    It took Chase a while to figure out that my hair was cut and not just pulled back. Once he realized it, he kept reaching up to grab the ends of my hair and pulling, but his little hand just slid right off.

    I cut mine too just before Christmas. It's about the same length and yours, except I added in bangs.

    I'm in my sister's wedding next month, and I want to wear my hair up, but I already have an appointment the following week to get it cut.  Yours looks great!

    I like it!!! Half of my hair fell out from medication so now that it is finally growing back I just don't want to cut it!! But it is up 90% of the time becuase Jack LOVES to pull it. 

    I really like your cut, I agree you look so young!

    Awesome!

    I cut mine a while back, not so much because of the length but because of the drying/styling time.  My blow dryer and I don't see much of each other now, but I refuse to break up with my instyler.

    I so wish I had the face for that!  I cut almost 2 feet off once (also for locks of love) and I looked like a fat little boy.  If I had better bone structure, i'd get a pixie!!! For now, it's mid back.  gah.

    I cut 14" off at the end of May when DD was 1 month old. It was a cute, short bob (a little longer than yours is now).  About a month ago I chopped more off into a pixie cut.  I love it! My hubby loves it and I SUPER love that it takes 3 minutes from soaking wet to cute, styled and DONE!!
