To all you Ladies who have done this before! Help

So i am almost 6 weeks pregnant with my first and i have had the mild period cramps which i know are normal. But every once in a while ill get a really bad a little painful cramp. Usually just one every day or every other day. Is this normal? Should i call the doctor? TIA

Your ute is growing. Unless you are bleeding and cramping, you're fine.

    This.

  • I'm new ... and I've been lurking.. and this has happened to me so i thought i'd chime in. My cramps started 2 days after Xmas and they kept getting worse so i said to my husband if it keeps happening I'll call my gyno on Monday (a week after it started) But i kept googling that whole week and come Friday the day before NYE i bought a early home pregnancy test and @ 345am i tested and it was positive.. (yay!) Well i already had a Jan 17 check up with my gyno but i got the vip treatment and got an appt this past Wednesday..I told my doc that i had bad cramps mostly on my left side she said its normal. Also it helps it you drink lots of water. You'll be peeing a lot but you can't have it all.. lol
  • This is round ligament pain as your body is expanding and is normal if there is no bleeding associated with it.

  • Yesterday, I was cramping so bad I had to sit down.

Later that day, I had an u/s (it was scheduled, not because of the cramping, but because I was bleeding) everything was fine.

Cramping is very normal.  Unless it comes and goes in a pattern, don't worry about it.

  • It is very normal.  I get them all the time with #2 I notice when I don't drink water regularly or I carry LO around for a long time it is worse.  your uterus is growing at a crazy rate so there is bound to be some growing pains!

  • Thanks everyone for your input good to know that those strong ones are normal. Not having any bleeding i check everytime i go to the bath room.
