GroVia Question??

My baby is almost 4 months, she weighs about 14 lbs, and has chunky legs. I want to start cloth diapering (we tried kissaluvs at birth and failed...) and I've heard great things about the GroVia's.

I'm wondering if the AIOs will fit her? And do you think the AIO or the hook loop closure's are better?

    They will most definitely fit her. One size diapers start fitting around 10 lbs usually. Hook and loop makes for a better fit usually but snaps last longer. Everyone prefers something different. Also, AIO & Hybrids both come in snap or h/l for the record. What did you find was the reason cloth didn't work out in the beginning?

    Grovias are nice and trim but the side are pretty stretchy.  I started using them around the same age your LO is, and have never had a problem with them.  I like the snaps better, but I like snaps better on all my diapers.  They last longer and will be harder for LO to take off later down the road.

    My girl is about 15 lbs and the GroVia AIOs fit her great (she also has chunky legs). I love how the sides are stretchy. I just have the snaps so I can't compare to the hook loop.

    Thanks so much ladies! I think I will be ordering some snaps. It didn't work for us in the beginning because our baby just got so fussy when she was wet...the kissaluvs just didn't wick the moisture away enough. I had 1 newborn grovia and it was the only thing that worked. I was so tired and sore that I didn't pursue it.. Embarrassed

    I prefer the Grovia hook and loop to their snaps. But just for Grovia. The all in one snaps are just weird IMO. They snap on the sides and now that my LO moves so much during a change, it is very difficult to use those snaps. My other snap diapers are fine though.
