PSA on not wanting to see certain siggies

If you are on Firefox:

Go to:
Tools
Options
Content

Where it says 'load images automatically', click Exceptions.

Enter in the address of a siggy you don't like (for example, the obnoxious Bump badges or GenesisStar's dead baby). Voila, you never see it again.

PattyPoundcake, the woman posted a picture of her dead baby for the world to see and proudly defends her actions even in the face of people saying "I had a m/c and you are causing me intense pain". Not. Right. In. The. Head. I don't blame her for being messed up, I would be too, but I'd try not to spread my pain around like she is.

By blocking Genesis's siggy (since that's the one people are most concerned with right now), you also block any other sigs that the img starts with i35somethingsomething....so I couldn't see SarahTx's siggy anymore and a couple others. I had to unblock the offending sig. Now I just have to stop reading the M/PL board drama.

But at what point do we say a dead baby is inappropriate? Should Marramarie take down pics of Clark since he was born at 27 weeks? Or should Coolteacher take down pics of Isaac since he isn't alive in those pics either? Yes I know the difference, but I just don't know who should call the shots on where the line is drawn.

If multiple people told those women that their siggies were disturbing and causing them increased grief, then yes. I think it's selfish to post pictures in your signature (that you can look at on your own time all you want) that disturb others. I would say the same thing about a photo of a horribly wounded soldier, the destruction caused by a natural disaster, etc.

you can also just right click on the image and go down to "block image"

VanillaCourage-- ITA. ?She is not who she says she is/flat out lying, I would bet money on it. ?Is 25 and TTC for 6 years with a "fiance" and claims the baby lived for a minute or two at 15 weeks-- sounds off to me. ?
