Home from my lap today

Hi ladies,

Lap is in the books - I'm finally over the nausea and am on top of my meds so my pain is minimal right now.  He found stage 2 endo and took care of it and also discovered my right fallopian tube is mostly blocked but couldn't do much to fix it because it is a developmental thing I guess I was born with.  I'm so very relieved they found something to "fix".  The gas pains have been minimal too but I'm wondering if those creep in later?  Thanks for everyone's support, I can't wait to get back to treatments!!

TTC since 7/2010
Dx: Anovulation, Endo, only one working tube and ovary
IUIs 1-5 = BFNs
IVF #1 - ER 7/9 3dt 7/12
Transferred two beautiful 8 cell embryos
Beta #1 7/26 = 484 Beta #2 7/28 = 1045
. U/S 8/10 showed one baby with a strong heartbeat!

    Glad he was able to take care of the endo.  Hope it's just what you need to get your little one.  Now, rest up this weekend and let YH wait on you! :)

    Hey! It's a weird feeling to be relieved to find something!!!  Stage 2 is good news though... its enough where clearing it out could be what has been preventing you from getting KU but not so bad that it should continue to be a HUGE obstacle.  No one seems to be worried too much about my one tube being blocked either so don't let that stress you too much (even though I found that to be a hard pill to swallow).  Also, I wanted to add that I never experienced the severe gas pain that most complained of so I would say that if you don't have it now you probably won't have it.  Rest up and Ice up and take your pain meds!  Feel better!

    Some Drs "vacuum" it out so that the pain is lessened! I found I didn't have much shoulder pain (my dr is one of those) but did have a few twinges a few days later. Boo!

    Glad they were able to fix the issue and I hope you feel better soon! Make sure you keep on your pain meds for at least 2-3 days. It's a lot easier to stay on top of it than play catch up. :)

    Glad part of the findings were fixable. The gas pain for me got worse the second day, but I hope for you it is minimal. I am just over a week out from my lap and I am feeling really good. I didn't have anything removed though so that could have something to do with it. I hope you heal quickly and easily!!

    I'm so glad he was able to take care of the endo! I hope that does the trick for you! My gas pains after surgery subsided after the first day.  Good luck in your recovery!

    It sounds like you're doing well! Rest up and take it easy. Don't try to do things too quickly. I thought I would have been fine on day 3 but it took me until day 5 to be able to fully walk around without getting dizzy or feeling sick.
