Let's talk water

I am not a big drinker. Of anything. I never really was. So it's been very hard for me to push water now, even though I know that it's really important. I'm curious to know how much water you're drinking, because, even with my best efforts, I'm only able to force down about 3 16 oz. bottles a day. I feel like I should be drinking a lot more than that. Thoughts or suggestions? TIA

  • It can never hurt to drink more. It's hard for me as well, more so at home than while I'm at work.

My bottle is 24 oz and I normally drink two or three while at work and I've been trying to get one more down while at home. The passed couple nights, I have woken up parched, so I've been taking a bottle to bed with me as well, just in case.

  • I think my cup is 24ozs and I drink 3-4 of them a day. Besides OJ or cranberry juice, water is my favorite.

  • I have a 25oz bottle and try to drink 3 of them a day. I realized the bigger the container the more I'm likely to drink. Since I don't have to refill it as often
  • I'd say you're doing pretty good.  I actually have one of those soda streams, and for some reason I can drink more if it's "spritzy."  I know most of the pre-packaged ones at the store have aspertame, but I've seen some made with splenda.

I find that drinking room temperature water helps it go down a little easier.

    THIS!

I have a water bottle that is 20 oz, and refill it 3-4 times a day.

  • You're already drinking more water than me hun! I also am not a big drinker, I can have 1 drink and sip it all day, so I've been trying so hard. I'm slowly doing better, eventually we will get use to it! :) I can drink lots of milk though, I love love love milk. I can drink 2 gallons in a few days.

  • I normally drink 3 32 oz. Nalgenes full a day, morning, afternoon, and gym. I pretty much only drink water other than my 1-2 c of morning coffee each day, so glass of water with breakfast, lunch, and dinner too.

  • I drink water all day long at work, probably about 4-5 bottles. But I've always done that. I'm putting lemon or lime in the water now to give it a little more taste.

  • I was recommended to that when pregnant you should try for half your body weight in water each day. Like you, I'm not a water fan but I find that as long as it is really cold and pure I don't mind it...some times though I like to add lemon to help give it a little something because plain water just gets redundant.
