Looking for a pediatrician - NW part of town

I'm researching pediatricians and wanted to get some input from the forum. We live in the Copperfield area (290/Hwy 6). I've gotten several recs for pediatiricans closer into town, but would prefer somewhere closer to home. Do you have any pediatric reccomendations for my area of town? We are also willing to look into Cypress, Tx as well. Thanks, in advance!

    We see Dr. Knapick at Tx Childrens Pedi, in the new medical buildings on 290 at Huffmeister.

    I've always liked him and we like the practice.  I've seen a few other pedis when he's been out or we needed something last minute, and we've been happy with all of them.

    Thanks! I've actually heard his name before, so I'll look into him. I've heard he's good, but that sometimes it can be hard to get an appt with him. Have you found this to be true or no?

    Not for our scheduled appts - but I usually make them a few weeks in advance.

    For an emergency appt - yes.  I think I've seen him once, and have seen a few other doctors instead.  However, I like everyone I've seen so far.

    I like the practice in general.  They do after hours at a location in the Champions Forest area - evening hours & Sat/Sun.  This has been helpful a few times - we knew DS was getting an ear infection, so it was nice to get antibiotics before we went out of town.

    The other Dr there seen by a few nesties is Dr. Nguyen.  I also liked Dr. Kahn the one time I met with her.
