Lincoln measured 11.1 oz at exactly 18 weeks. That puts him in the upper 98th percentile for weight. Do you think this means he will be super big when he is born?? I'm so happy he is a big bouncing baby boy. The doctor didn't even give it a second thought, although they did move my due date up. Guess I'm just curious who else is measuring big.

OMGosh. Exactly one of the reasons I refuse to be induced for anything other than a "real" problem. How awful for her. I read in your siggy you had a natural birth! that is Awsome!! Could you give me a quick story on how you did it and how it went??
Honestly, I don't pay any attention to what the ultrasound says about size and weight. For my DS, they told me he was going to be small. They said seven pounds TOPS. Well, out came a 9 pound, 9 oz 22 inch long baby .
They said this baby is already measuring a week ahead. It will probably be another big baby so instead of pushing my due date up, they are saying that it's probably another big one.
My friend was told to expect a HUGE baby-- up to 9 pounds. Well, he was huge alright, but they were wrong... he was 10 pounds, 9 ounces! Didn't fit into any of his newborn clothes!
She was still able to deliver him vaginally though, so I guess that's the good news.
i went in tuesday and our baby is > 90th percentile not sure exact number. but I'm 20 weeks 4 days and he's measuring 3 weeks ahead. In comparison to other 20 week US's ive seen my boy does have some long legs so maybe your baby is long too?
I just hope he's healthy and that I don't have GD (glucose test in 6 weeks i think)
I'll be glad to ahve a baby anywhere from 6-9 lbs .
It really is amazing what your body can do! Also, I found it better when delivering a HUGE baby to not know about it. I had no idea until DS came out and I'm so glad because I would have been nervous.

Our baby boy measure 12oz at 19wks. I have been concerned about having a big baby the entire time because DH was 10lb 9oz 22in long when he was born, but the u/s tech put me at easy yesterday when she said her H was 10 something when he was born and her kids took after her and came out between 7lbs and 8lbs.
