Dilated Bowel

Anyone been told their LO has this?  They just found it at today's u/s (I am 37 weeks) and the MFM specialist said, and I quote, "the baby has a dilated bowel.  I'm not sure what that means, so the pediatrician will have to look at it when she's born".  I was completely dumfounded.  Really?!?! That's all you can offer me!?!? As a nursing student who just went through OB and peds rotations I know what a dilated bowel COULD mean but I just couldn't say anything when he told me this in the office. I was completely in shock. 
So now I'm waiting for someone to call me back to discuss this.  I just need some answers.

I'm just wondering if anyone else was told their LO has this or what was said/done about it.  Thanks in advance!
