I don't know how to join, but can someone please explain what exactly pinterest is? I hear all sorts people are addicted, but I'm not quite sure what the site does/is.

Basically it's just a great website where you can find great ideas for things for your kids, DIY projects, crafts, home decor etc. When you see an idea that you like, you "pin it" to your page so that you will always be able to go back and reference it later.
You can also follow your friends and what they are pinning. It is really addicting!
