Northern California Babies

For those who like the puree pouches that are all over now..

I like them for the twins on the go, but do not like the price at $1.50-2.00 each times 2 gets expensive. I also have a ton of puree food leftover, but they don't love to be fed by spoon and want to try to do it themselves.

I have been searching for a reusable solution and found this  the Beaba Babypote, I got it yesterday and LOVE it. It has a wide mouth you can pour into and very easy for the kids to use. It is very flexible so easy for them to squeeze. I look forward to using it with yogurt or even smoothies.

Just wanted to pass on for others who might be looking.

Oh and here is the a blog that reviewed it and helped me choose.

  • Ooh... thanks for this!  I like the idea of the pouches, but I make my own baby food and wasn't all about the waste OR cost of those squeezy things.  I might give this a try.

  • My friend and I were talking about inventing something like this. This is what I needed when we still had homemade puree.
  • Ooo - those are so cool!!!

  • OOH!  Those are awesome!  I wish they were around when G was small.

  • Those look pretty neat.  Are they fairly easy for little fingers to squeeze the stuff out, does it come out easily when they dump it upside down and give it a little shake?

We've had these spoons and I loved them for traveling when the boys were tiny and now that they are older they love the novelty of them but they are not the easiest as self-feeding tools.

I saw the spoon, I didn't shake it or tip it yet but I think it would depend on the thickness of what is in it. We had to squeeze to get it out.

  • Just ordered one to try.  Thanks for the tip!
