  • I have been doing okay, I had lost about 23 pounds as of October and I am pretty much still there (I weigh in tomorrow).  I've been staying pretty steady through the holidays, which I guess is better than gaining, and I can't eat all this food and still lose, so I guess I shouldn't complain. 

    I was doing AWESOME at getting up each morning and exercising and that has pretty much gone by the wayside since my birthday in November.  With everyone being sick this week it was just too crazy- but I am back to it starting 5 AM Monday morning.  It is crazy but it makes me feel SO much better.  

    I also need to put myself on a bedtime.  I was basically incapacitated with stomach flu yesterday- I know I just let myself get so worn down then something like that hits and it forces me to stop- I need to listen more carefully to those signals.  

    So, Monday- 10 PM bedtime and 5 AM wake up call for fricks!

  • Congrats H!  Awesome job!

    After finally opening my eyes to my weight gain, I have turned things around.  I have been to the gym/worked out every day since Saturday.  Yay for progress and getting back into my workout routine! 

  • I need to get my medical records transfered over from Stanford to Kaiser so I can see their nutritionist.  I've been stuck at the same weight for months even w/ working out more.  

    I'm hoping by doing this I can see the scale move down even if it is only a little bit at a time.

  • I signed up for Weight Watchers on Tuesday.  So far I think I'm doing ok and am being honest about what I'm eating.  I need to figure out how to fit exercising into my schedule.  I know that there is no way I'll ever wake up early to do it and our evenings are so packed.

  • So glad these posts are back!

    I'm back too - with a vengeance!  This week I've got two bootcamps and one tri-training session down and one Bootcamp to go.  I'm logging food and exercise and getting my gallon of water, lots of veggies and two EmergenCs in every day.  I still have a painful injury (going on 18 months now) but have a lead on someone who might be able to help - fingers crossed!

    Time for my foam roller and Epsom salt bath...

  • I've finally somehow managed to get myself into a positive mindset about all of it. I lost 2.5 lbs this week!!!!! I cannot believe it. And really, the only change I made was that I focused on making between 50-80% of my diet vegetables. I was shocked when I stepped on the scale this morning. Now to just keep this up and continue moving forward and downward!
