Doula Recommendations in the City?

Hi,

I'm just starting my search for finding a doula, but there seem to be so many!

Can anyone recommend their doula?  I'm delivering at Prentice.

    The Doulas at Birthways are absolutely fantastic. Very supportive and knowledgable.

    I went through Birthways, too. I would contact them - they assess your needs/wants and recommend a doula from there.

    It depends on the doula's experience (and obviously you can tell them up front what your range is, too). I can't remember exactly but I want to say they range from like $300-1000. Ours was $600 and she had a pretty fair amount, and wide range of birthing experiences.
