Less of a vent more of a wth rant

Only three family members called/texted/facebooked me to tell Jay happy birthday. It is his first birthday and he doesn't know. And I really don't care if people call on his actual birthday. Most will be there on his party day. But two family members on H's side flip out if people do not call on their birthday/their LO's birthday's no matter the age of their LO.

Why do people expect you to call not fb comment on their birthday or their LO's 1st, 2nd, 3rd birthday and flip out and call everyone balling because they didn't call on their LO's birthday and then they don't call their family members on their birthday.

Hypocrites!

I'm sorry I hate when people are selfish and hypocritical! Happy belated birthday to your cutie!

I secretly am a little dispapointed in the lack of enthusiasm surrounding my girls' first birthday today. Only my parents called, and I got very few comments on FB about it. I'm so selfish lol it's like the biggest day in the world for me! Can't believe I have 1 year olds!

That would bother me too. My dad and SM called today to say hi to him on his last day of babyhood! They expect the same kid of treatment for their 3 little ones too...but at least they reciprocate.
