Those baby alarms are really necessary

Just thought I'd share a recent news story in the metro Atlanta area where a crazy person actually tried to steal a newborn baby at a major hospital.  Luckily the alarms worked and the staff were able to get the baby before the women got away.  I am just totally amazed that this stuff really happens.  So sad!!!  I'll definatly be asking questions of anyone unusual that comes into my room other than my nurse.

    wow.... I wonder what mental illness she has.  There is no way a sane person would try this.

    And here I was thinking that the security systems in my hospital were probably unnecessary.  Now I'm grateful it has them!  I'm glad she didn't get away.

    My nurse knew how tired we were and was trying to get us quickly moved crom the birthing floor to the floor where we would spend the rest of our time. She accidentally tripped the code pink alarm and it took a while to get the elevator going but this made me feel safer about our stay!
