pediatrician in bing. ny update! wanted to use pediatrics in JC practice is closed :(

I posted a little while ago & was so sure on the place i wanted to use - Pediatric & Adolescent Health in Johnson City- only to call and find out that their practice is closed! :( so here i am back to square one and very stuck!

 Here is my original post on this subject:

Hello everyone, once i found out i was pregnant i posted on here asking for obgyn recommendation & i went with the one suggested. I absolutly love her & couldnt be happier with my dr!! So, im leaving this up to you all to help me with this one :) I need a pediatrician, my baby will be here soon & i still dont have one! I also have an almost 5 year old....

the only prefrences i have is that he/she is personable! i cant deal with not friendly people :P & also (please no one take this offensivly) someone who speaks english... NOTHING against anyone what so ever, i just have a very hard time understanding foreign drs and im also the type of person who needs things to be explained very thoroughly, so mixing the two just doesnt work for me.

    Did you give the Lourdes practice a call?  I think lawells recommended that one (and 1 or 2 other people I thought). 

    And when did you call Pediatrics?  Sometimes you can call in the beginning of a month and get in (that's what I had to do for Dr. Bishop).

    I'd try JC again like goosh said, or give Lourdes a call.  That's who we use and we couldn't be happier.  My son sees Dr. Abueg.  We've also seen Dr. Rao.  I have friends who use 2 of the other docs (Dr. Kirsch and Dr. Holdredge--he actually did my son's first exam after he was born).  The practice also has a new female doctor, who I've heard good things about.

    Yes we saw the new female doctor when C choked and had airway swelling and she was great. Dr. Rao is our regular pedi, when C was first born she has cardiac issues and him and Dr. Abueg were fantastic.
