I don't remember the exact times now (pregnancy brain much?) but I pumped for around 2 months and had quite the stash so he got breast milk exclusively for about 3 months, maybe a little less.

I BF from birth until about 10 months. At about 6 months, I got sick, and my supply never fully recovered. So we had to supplement my milk and formula from 6 months on. So, DD was totally on formula from 10-12 months.

My daughter was 5 weeks early and we never figured out breastfeeding because I went back to work really quickly after she was born. I exclusively pumped for a year.
With DS I breastfed for 16 months. At that point I was done and weaned him. It was sad, but I wanted DH to be able to put him to bed without me. I needed some me time at that point!

This was me too, except I went to 2 years. I plan to pump more this time around and get this baby to take a bottle from DH alot sooner than we tried with DS.
Between DD having serious problems with latching and her sleeping for 5 hour chunks of time, I just couldn't manage to get a good supply in (even with pumping). It was a huge contributor to my PPD and, as soon as I let myself not feel guilty about giving her formula, my life (and mothering) improved significantly. Still, I am planning to at least try BFing again this time.
I BF for about a year until DS could have milk and not need formula. It was a HUGE commitment and really difficult, but felt right for our family. I hope to do the same with this one.
I planned on BFing for 1-2 years, but this pregnancy killed my supply. I tried to save it, but DS got so fussy and was nursing every 30-60 mins. Switched to formula at 9 mos and he was back to normal. It was so hard to give up and I even resented this pregnancy for a while, but now he's on whole milk so I'm over it
I EP'ed for 11 months then used my freezer stash and started to drop pump sessions to dry up the last month of his first year as I transitioned him to cow's milk.

I EP'd for 9 months until we discovered DS had a really severe dairy allergy. He reacted to my bm with bad eczema so I stopped and switched To soy formula. I'm hoping to pump for a year with this one but we have some trips coming up and it might be easier to do formula
* DS1...allergic to dairy, peanuts, eggs and turkey *
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
I BF all but one feeding per day while on maternity leave and then at 12 weeks went to just BF 1x morning and 1-2x at night until 7 months. DS got formula at daycare because I didn't want to extend my work day and time away from DS just to spend time pumping at work. I also pumped occasionally before I went back to work and built up a freezer stash so when DS was in daycare he got 1x bottle day of BM until 4 or 5 months when the freezer stash ran out.
Our 1 bottle formula / day during my mat. leave was because DH would get up for one feeding per night with DS (and I would get up for 1-2 BF depending on how many times DS woke up).
Married June '03. DS born Jan '09. DD born Feb '12. No, we didn't choose to be childless for the first 6 years, only the first 3.
i breastfed and pumped. At 9months she rejected my boobs so i just pumped. I had quite the stash though in the basement freezer. So i continued to pump until 11 months and then finished off my stash and so she had breastmilk until she was one.
