Did the amnio today...

And it was no where as near as scary as I thought, although still scary...it was quick and over before I knew it.

I get the results in 10 days but from the A/S ultrasound...

I'm having a boy !!!!! Yippeee!

    So glad it went well for you and congratulations on your news! 

     I'm still 2 weeks out from my amnio... the time is NOT going by quickly.  I want to have it done, get the news, and be able to move from there!

    I know how you feel...I wasn't able to focus on anything for a few days before the amnio...Now, I'm just twiddling my fingers waiting for the results...Good Luck on your amnio!

    Great news glad I saw this mine is scheduled for next Thursday, and I was starting to get a lil nervous!!! You put my mind at ease!

    I had mine today too!

    The needle part did not take long but the ultrasound prior was very long.

    I didn't find it very painful either but I am glad it is over and hope to get the results soon. Hopefully I and everyone else gets good news!

    Yes, I had the A/S ultrasound right before the amnio. I loved seeing the LO...Did you find out the sex of your LO?

    Not yet - I said I didn't want to know until I get the results. Zip it!
