Having a baby in SF?

Which hospital / doctor is best? We used UCSF to conceive through IVF, so staying in that network is preferable, but not a deal-breaker.

After 22 cycles and 4 failed IUIs, Serafina joined our family through IVF/ICSI, born 8.28.12
Our surprise baby, Juliette, is due 12.8.14!

    Since you are not Kaiser HMO, you pretty much have 3 choices:

    -CPMC (Laurel Village)

    -CPMC - St. Luke's Campus (Mission)

    -UCSF

     I delivered at CPMC with my first and will do so with this one.  I see a doctor in the Pacific GYN/OB Medical Grp and like them alot. I believe they only deliver at CPMC (Laurel)

    I delivered at UCSF and had a great experience. We had appointments with lots of different OBs but my favorite was Dr. Lager. She was superb!
