How much weight had you lost 2 weeks PP?

The post below has me freaking out a bit, as I have not been so fortunate as to have lost most or all of the baby weight. Please tell me only the extremely lucky ones were responding to that post and that my body will continue to lose this weight.

  • I'd lost all of the baby weight at 2 weeks - but I only gained about 20 pounds. I've since plateaued, and that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I eat like crap. :)

  • I lost 23 pounds but I am still 12 pounds heavier than I was before I was pregnant.

  • My weight loss is hard to calculate.  I lost 22lbs eating well during PG.  Then, I gained back about 20 in baby.  I have lost 23 lbs since March.  I still have about 15 lbs of fat to lose, not baby weight...I think.

  • your body will definintely continue to lose weight. I lost 30 lbs due to hyperemesis, but but in the end I gained a total of 36 lbs (so only 6 lbs over my pre weight). I have lost 24 lbs but am still significantly lower than my pre-pregnancy weight. I am not doing anything. In fact my eating habits are horrible, but the weight is still slowly coming off and will continue too. Don't get down yet, it'll happen.

  • I've lost 15 lbs, and have another 10 to go. I still have almost a month to go before my doctor will clear me for hard core exercise, and it's too cold here to go out walking. I'm hoping that once I get the green light to exercise the weight will come off and I can get back into some real pants.

  • I lost 15lbs but now I have sprung up to what I weighed at 9 months pregnant! Its annoying.

  • I've lost 20lbs which has me 10lbs down from my pre-pregnancy weight.  I was super excited but I've plateaued.  I hit that mark after about a week and haven't budged since.

  • 20 lbs at 2weeks pp. 24lbs at 3weeks.

    Still have 26 to go to get to pre pregnancy weight and another 30 after that to goal weight.

  • I gained 37 total.. at 2 weeks I had lost 20 and now at 5 weeks I still have 13 to go to my pre-pregnancy weight. I feel like I've plateaued but I have to keep telling myself it is a slow process.

  • At 2 weeks I had lost 15 and now I've lost 20 of the 27 I gained. 

    I hate these posts because it just makes people feel bad when the truth is that everyone is different.  Starting weight, body type, heredity, cleared to work out...all these things will affect you weight loss.  Just keep what you eat in check and do as much physical activity as you can and it will come off in time.

  • I gained 35.  at 2 weeks pp I had lost 20.  15 more to pre preg weight.

  • oh you are not alone!  I've lost about 30 pounds (but I gained 55) and I've been stuck in the 25-30 range basically since 1 week pp.

  • At 1 week PP I was down 14lbs, then I went in to my OB's office 4 days later I was down another 5lbs. I went in yesterday for my 6 week PP check up and I was down another 5lbs. So in total I've lost 24lbs since delivery. I still have 38lbs to go to be pre- all 3 of my kids. I haven't done anything at all but eat smaller portions of food. I didn't change what I ate, cause I eat like crap too. I'm starting my exercise regimen today since I got cleared yesterday for more rigorous exercise.

    This is what I'm scared of, I'm almost a week out and I've lost 21 lbs but I gained 60 during this pregnancy. I have a feeling the last bit is going to be tough and not going to melt off like the first bit. Part of the reason I gained so much was because I was retaining a lot of fluids and the only reason I've lost as much as I have now is probably because I'm peeing it out.

  • I gained 32, and at 2wks out I had lost 30.  I am not back to my pp weight, but I had 30 extra lbs to start that I need to get rid of.  I was retaining a lot of water, and had a LOT of amniotic fluid so that's why it dropped so quickly.

  • wow!  i'm so jealous of some peoples' progress! 

    i gained about 28 pounds.  i lost about 15 and have 13 pounds left.  i am eating really healthy (except the coffee cake i am eating right now, hehe) and i have a feeling i'm going to really have to WORK to get that 13 pounds off.  if i wnat to get to my wedding weight, however, i have to lose an additional 10 pounds.

    This is me too. I just got on a scale today, a little over 20 down, 10-15 to go in order to be where I was. Another 10-15 to be where I want to be though.

  • I gained 23lbs while pregnant and have lost 30 so far. I'm sure I am to the point where I won't be losing anymore unless I really try  but I will know for sure at my 6 week pp appointment next week. I thank BF for the weight loss since I definitely haven't been monitoring what I am eating. Before I got pregnant I had about 50lbs I wanted to lose so now I can focus on that :)

  • I gained 40 and have no idea how much I've lost. I don't have a scale and I like it that way. Judging by my mirror image, I'd guess I still have 15 or so to lose. But I like my PP body so far so I'm not complaining.

  • You aren't alone. 2 weeks PP, I'd lost 16 of 34 lbs. I've lost 2lbs since then....but it took nine months to gain it all, right? :/ I can't wait to be cleared for exercise!

  • This post is depressing me. I gained 37 lbs during pregnancy and as of this morning, I have lost 17. 20 to go! I've been eating like crap though. I plan to get to the grocery store this weekend and stock up on healthy food.

  • I have lost abut 25 and I have 10 to go to get to my pre pregnancy weight.  I do have a ton to lose though to be at a healthy weight.  I am in my largest pair of regular pants tray so that feels good.

  • I havent been weighed since one week after birth. At that time I was six lbs heavier than pre-pregnancy weight. I think BFing has a lot to do with it.

    Same for me! The scale hasn't been budging for the last few weeks so it looks like I'll have to suck it up and start exercising. 

  • I gained 50 and lost 30 by 2 weeks PP. I'm now 4 weeks PP and it hasn't budged. Guess once I'm cleared for exercise its up to me to lose the rest!
  • At 2 weeks PP, I had lost 24 of the 32lbs I gained.

  • I gained 50lbs (thank you 8 weeks of bedrest at the end).  I was down 20 at 2 weeks PP and down 30 today at 6 weeks PP.  I still have 20lbs to get to pre-pregnancy.  I am within the healthy range weight wise but I really want to get back to where I was.

    You will get there. With babies 2-4, I have gained 50lbs and I have gotten back to pre pregnancy weight within 6 months.  I figure, 9 months on, 9 months off.

  • I am 1 wk 2 days PP.  I havent been able to weigh myself but my belly is flat and I can wear my jeans.  I wish I knew what I weighed.

  • I'm about half way there...I gained 40 lbs and at 2 weeks I was down roughly 20lbs, so 20 more to go...I can't wait for my 6 week check up to be cleared to do real workouts! But for now, trying to eat right, and go on walks when its not 30 degrees outside.
