Did anyone else notice that Kailyn's son Isaac had shorts on when she picked him up on Christmas from Jo's house? He had a coat on, why did he not have pants on? Then they showed her driving away in the snow. Nice.
These must be the same moms who let their kids go to school with shorts on and it is 25 degrees out. Without a coat too, because apparently they are not cool. I learn so much working at a high school!
I'm actually going to give Kailyn a pass on this one. MTV re-created that scene in the summertime. Did you notice that Isaac's hair was a lot longer when Janet was holding him in that scene? Plus when Kailyn walked in it was clearly dark outside and when she "drove away" it was light. She is dumb about a lot of stuff, but this was just bad editing.
Proud mom to Jeremy (10/24/08) and Gabriel (4/25/11)
I noticed but I don't judge on that. It could be that he wears shorts to sleep in and maybe they didn't feel like changing him into pants when the trip involved going from house to car, car to house. Aslong as she had a warm car and back up clothes packed incase of an emergency breakdown I don't see the big deal.

I don't know about the high school thing... At that point you don't have much say in what your kids wear. My brother was the type to wear sandals and no jacket in the winter because he "wasn't cold", and there was no convincing my Mom could do to change that!

Wow, no I didn't notice any of that. Damn I wish I wouldn't have deleted it now. Nothing gets past you! Maybe that is why Jo made some comment about Isaac being in a warm car or something, to try to make it seem more real.
And if I want to be stupid and go to my car with shorts on and no coat, that's my problem. But my baby can't decide that for herself yet so I will always have pants on her when it is cold out. Plus the paranoid mom side of me makes up scenarios like what if we crashed and couldn't get to the change of clothes and had to walk or something. IDK, my mom brain can come up with some crazy stuff sometimes.

Well if I go by how the kids are at the school that I work at, their parents don't have a say in ANYTHING they do and that's one reason they are so bad there. I'm hoping my daughter won't be too bad as a teen, I wasn't.

Actually, it did get past me the first time, lol. I read this on televisionwithoutpity.com. Then I re-watched the scene on mtv.com, and sure enough, they were right!

Yea, now THAT'S another issue... We were all good kids. The problem now-a-days is that parents are too afraid to be parents because they want their kids to like them... If you don't teach your kids to respect YOU, how are they going to respect authority period?? Kids feel so entitled these days, too.... Uggh. Hopefully we can get it back on track with our parenting!

I did notice that and made a comment to DH when I saw it. I was like really shorts and a hoodie....in snow. Nice parenting fail.

Yeah, I didn't even notice the whole shorts thing, but a few episodes I noticed him going back and forth in his looks a lot. Like you could tell things weren't shown in order. I've noticed it with the other babies too.
I heard Jo say something like "hurry to the car so he stays warm." I didn't really think anything of it after he said that. But he should have had sweats on.

I was practically yelling at the tv while she was trying to find someone to bail him out of jail. Shes so ridiculous it drives me crazy.

I totally noticed this, so odd! She even says that it is cold out! It wasn't even a jacket really, it was just a sweatshirt.
