I really thought I felt better after the first day, but I still do have down days. Maybe give it a few days and then speak to your doctor if you feel that it still isn't any better. But if it really feels a lot worse then I wouldn't hesitate to call your doctor sooner.
I'm on Lexapro but yes. That first day was HORRIBLE. I was like "is this a joke?" The 2nd day wasn't as bad as 1 and by the end of the first week, the side effects had lessened DRAMATICALLY.
I was told by my doctor if I didn't feel better after six weeks to go back and she would fix the dose. But when I started to feel better I was getting very sick when I was taking my dose. (Like I was having morning sickness EVERY DAY and not prego.) it was awful. We kicked back my dose and in three weeks I was off of it.
When I started Zoloft my first day was a double dose and was amazing, then it went beck to crap. It took about two weeks for me to really feel the benefits. I'm glad that your second day was better - I hope it keeps goint up!
Re: Zoloft help needed
Thank you so much for responding. I very much felt worse, although now, much better. I have experienced the following"
Stress/Anxiety (much like coming off a bad drug ** don't as how I know
Detachment from everyone, even LO this time (didn't have the before, it was just everyone else around me)
Definite heightened anxiety
Earlier today, LO flashed one of her million dollar smiles and I smiled at her back (smiling was the hardest thing I have to do today)
Anyways, hoping it all goes away with day two!
