xp: How bad are blue die tests?

I took one tonight and I am still a little early to test, but it definitley came back with a second line to make the positve (but it was very light and thin within the time frame). It is a walgreens brand, and I know I definitly broke the rule of not reading it after the time frame but I did and the blue second line is still faint but darker then before. I will most likely test again Friday morning with a FRER to make sure and I really don't want to get my hopes up. The reason I tested early was because my nipples have been sore for the past few days, and wanted to see if i could be caused by pregnancy. I hope you all don't think I'm phising cos thats not what I am trying to do, I am just wondering if it is stupid to possibly get excited yet, or if I should just consider it negative and wait a few more days. TIA

    I don't know how true this is, but for me it was a blue die test (EPT) that was the final test I took.  It was much easier for me to distinguish the positive with the bright blue than it was with the light pink.  I took 5 First Response and got really faint positives and 2 EPT to confirm then I freaked out and called my OB lol

    lol. When I took a First Response with my last pregnancy (which sadly ended in miscairrage) when I first read the results I thought it was negative but I did a double take and there was a faint line there. I am hoping that this positive blue die  test is a real positive and not a false positive.

    My SIL got two false positives last night. Negative pink tests this morning.

    I haven't had a bad experience with blue tests, but I would test again in the morning. Good Luck. Hope you're over on these boards again soon.

    I've had three false positives with blue dye tests.

    Thank you everyone for your responses. I have my fingers crossed its not a false positve, but at the same time try not to drive myself crazy and get my hopes up.

    I also had a false positive with a blue dye test. A thin line like you describe doesn't sound right. I wouldn't trust it and only buy pink dye from here on out.

    I had a pregnancy scare a couple of months ago with the blue dye tests...i also read them later. I took a first response test the day before New Years and it was positive. I would go get a first response or digital. Good luck! I will keep my fingers crossed for you

    I'm not sure how bad the blue dye tests are but I too took the walgreens blue dye test and got a + after getting a - with a digital.
