I'm sorry but I HATE my DH today.

We work opposite schedules so I'm gone from 6-4:30 and he leaves and works from 5-11. I wake up early to nurse LO so that she'll fall back asleep until 9 ish so he gets a decent night sleep.

I had to work until 6:30 tonight so he needed to drop her with me and since I was losing 2 hours of my already very short night, I asked him if he could do a couple things for me.

1. switch over the laundry.

2. unload the dishwasher and load in the ones in the sink.

3. Either drop off the Redbox or bring it with him so I didn't have to go home before returning it.

I called him at 4:45 because he should have been at my work at 4:30. He tells me hes running late because he was napping with LO. Really? must be nice. Forgets the DVD, so I had to pull LO out in the 12* cold weather to go in the house to get it, back into the car, etc and he never touched the dishes or the laundry. Really? I work 10 hours a day, you work 6. You have all day with the bug who naps from 10-12 and then again at 2 and you couldnt get anything done???

Grrrrrrr!

Im sorry I just had to vent so I dont let it stew in my head and murder him.

I swear, hubby time goes by at warp speed. Yesterday afternoon I ran some errands and got dinner while LO took a surprise 2-hour nap. He was still sleeping when I got home. I asked what DH got accomplished and he said he was just surfing the internet the whole time. Hmm

I had this problem in the 1st marriage (no baby). I worked and my ex-H went to school, which was w/in walking distance and he had many breaks that were hours long. All I asked was for him to rinse his dishes and put them in the dishwasher...didn't happen. So, guess who stopped washing his dishes? He also refused to do laundry b/c most of the clothes were mine according to him, so I only washed my clothes for a while

I did everything for years and years. We didn't even have a washer/dryer in our apartment. He is now all by himself (has been for the last 3 years), so I'm guessing he does everything for himself now.

DH proudly wrote me to tell me how much he got done today- he works on the road but he took today to catch up on home stuff and work paperwork.

What did he do all day (LO was in daycare)?

Organized his desk.

There are 3 drawers, each about 2 inches high.

Arghhhh!!! Fu&^tard!!!! I hate how much we have to get done and the time we ask them to simple tasks, they make it like we asked to reverse the earth's rotation and "now I'm late for work!" Sorry he did this to you!
