Okay, so I realized recently that I don't think a single baby, complication free pregnancy has ultrasounds every 4 weeks like I do. (after the next one it will be every 2 weeks).
so how many ultrasounds are you/will you have in your entire pregnancy?
Re: how many ultrasounds have you had?
I have had zero so far. I have my 20 week coming up, and provided all goes well, that will be my only one.
I had only 1 with DS, and two with DD (the second one was simply b/c DD was too active at the 20 week to get all the measurements).
Nursed without dairy, egg, soy, peanut, treenut, fish, shellfish or beef for over a year.
Currently tandem nursing dairy, egg, and shellfish free.
DS born via emergency c/s after 20 hrs of labor. DD successful VBAC!

lurking a little, will be in my second tri very soon. I have had three so far, have my NT scan on Monday 1/9, will have an a/s scan at 20 weeks. My OB likes to check me out frequently because I convieved with an IUD, and I have a fibroid. So far everything is a-okay, and I don't mind all the extra pictures. They have the machine in my OB's office so it is not an inconvience for me.
I have NT scan on the 9th, then reg. appointment on the 24th, so I will be curious to see if my OB takes a peak again in the office on the 24th.

With DS I had complications (pre-e) and only had 2. One that was for my anatomy scan and one at 31 1/2 weeks for a growth ultrasound.
With this one I've only had one, and that was at 18w2d for the anatomy. I suspect I'll have a growth ultrasound at around 31-33 weeks again...because I've already been diagnosed with PIH and it may or may not turn into pre-e.

I had a dating ultrasound, NT scan at 13wks and the anatomy scan at 18wks, so three.
My SIL gets one every time she goes in but it's also covered under her insurance. I know plenty of people who get one every time they go in as well just because it's there. At my office I have to schedule a separate appointment for u/s.
I am thinking of asking for one at 30 weeks though. Not sure if I can go half of pregnancy w/o seeing baby!
Just two. Dating u/s at 10.5 weeks and A/S at 18 weeks. I don't anticipate any more this pregnancy unless something needs to be re-checked from my A/S or something comes up later in pregnancy.
With my first I had 6: an u/s at 10 weeks in the ER (went in for non-stop puking/dehydration) when they couldn't find the hb on a doppler, 12.5 week dating u/s from my OB, initial a/s at 19 weeks then a follow-up at 20 weeks to get an additional measurement and then one at 28 weeks to check on the status of my placenta previa. I also had a quick one at 36 weeks to confirm she was head down.
With my 2nd I had 4: a dating u/s at 9 weeks, the NT scan around 12.5 weeks, a/s at 19 weeks and then one to check my cervix at 32 weeks since I'd had an increase in pressure and contractions and they wanted to make sure everything looked good and closed up.

Probably 2. NT scan and a/s.
I had three with DS. Six with DD, but three were for monitoring at 41+ weeks.
My friend gets one at every appointment. She isn't high risk or anything. It is just what her OB does.
