I am overwhelmed with the amount of love and support that you have shown me today (and every other). The past 6 months has been an emotional and physical rollercoaster for me and I don't know how I would have gotten through it without you ladies. I saw LOML's post just as i was going into have my HSG done and I cried...it meant SO much to me.
So onto my HSG...I made sure to wear my lucky socks from a fellow bumpie since that is key to a succesful procedure. I had an amazing nurse that I explained my history to while we waited for the doctor. She told me not to focus on the tube, that we don't need that to have a baby...we just want a good ute, I believe she was trying to prepare me in case I got bad news. She then went on and on about how amazing my RE is and how confident she is in his ability to get me a baby. The procedure was pretty much painless and I got to watch on the screen. At the end, I sat up and he went over the picture with me and said that I am not crazy for wanting to try naturally. He gave me the green light to resume relations tomorrow and if not pregnant in 6 months, I should call him. And the moment I think I might be pregnant I should call so I can be closely monitored. The nurse was so happy for me and hugged me as I was leaving. So I have this grin on my face from ear to ear while I enjoy some good news for a change. Of course, I know reality is that I have a 30% chance of another ectopic so DH and I will have to take it day
Re: An update and thank you all SO much (long and mushy)
That's wonderful news! I'm so glad that your appointment went well and that you had a great nurse and RE.
