Anyone else? I'm having a ton of cramping, in my lower back, front and these are constant. This is exactly what I feel like before my period starts - Then, on top of that, I'm having contractions!
Signs of early labor?

I've been having the same thing for weeks. I've told my doctor, but she doesn't seem to concerned. I'm still not dilated or effaced at all. I was hoping it was a sign that labor was coming soon, but my doctor didn't say.
That's what all of my contractions feel like. I get cramping in the tops of my thighs too (as I do when I have PMS cramps). My OB isn't concerned, so long as I can ease the discomfort by changing position and/or drinking water - not necessarily making the discomfort completely go away but change or ease up for a bit. I had the same with my son for at least 6 weeks before delivery. My last appointment I was 60-70% effaced, due in 27 days.
that's how labor started for me. are they wrapping around to the back? have you tried to time them to see how often they're coming?
Yes, definitely wrapping around the back! The contractions hurt, but are tolerable.
I would take a shower or lay down to rest and see if they keep up. I've heard that "real" contrax won't ease up. Time them too and see how close together they are. I hope this is it for you. Very exciting!
i have that occasionally too, just not the contractions part. a couple of times its actually made me take my fetal doppler and check the babys heartbeat because i keep thinking "uh am i getting my period?" i can't wait til my babys born, but i dread getting my period again lol. good luck!!

I have been having the same thing for a few days. I hope so!
My cramps are also pretty constant so they are not timeable.
