Non Clicky Poll: Your LO's bed/wake time

Just curious, how old is your LO(s) and what is their bedtime and wake time?

Re: Non Clicky Poll: Your LO's bed/wake time

  • V goes to bed around 7-7:30 and wakes around 7:30.  Today she slept until almost 9, but I think she's getting over jet lag and general travel exhaustion.

    ETA:  She's 15 months old.

  • DD is 2.25, bedtime is 7:30, wake time is 7:15 on weekdays and 8 on weekends.

DS is 7 months and bedtime is 7:30, wake time is (2 a.m., 3:30 a.m., 5 a.m....) we shoot for 7 a.m., but really we roll with any time after 6 a.m. Anything before 6 a.m. we treat as a night waking and soothe him back to sleep.

    Dear Bump: You suck.
  • DD - 3 - bedtime anywhere from 8:30-10pm. wake up from 6:45-7:30am.

DS - 6 mo - bedtime 7:30. wake 6-7am, but i can feed him and get him back down until 8:30-9:30 on the weekends.

  • DD is 21 months, bedtime is 8:30 but she normally talks to herself until 10.  She wakes around 8:30.

  • DD- 6 yo- bedtime 8:30 and wake time 6:30 weekdays. Weekends or holidays bedtime 9:30 (or um, midnight if she is staying with her grandma, grrrr!!!!) and wake time around 8am

DS- 2.5 yo- bedtime 8-8:30pm and wake time usually he wakes up when I get his sister up at 6:30am.  if not I have to wake him up by 7am so we can take DD to school on weekdays.  Weekends- bedtime 8:30pm and wake time??? before the Christmas break I could not get him to sleep past 6:30-7am but the last 2 weeks he has been sleeping til about 8am, heaven!

  • Sparky is 5 months. He goes to bed between 8 and 8:30. He wakes up at midnight, 2:30ish and 5:30ish, then again between 6:30 and 7 which is fine because I'm usually ready for him by then. Over the break though, I'd feed him on both sides at 5:30 instead of the customary one and he'd let me sleep until 8.

ETA: He will nap 2+hrs at daycare, but never more than 45min at a time at home. I need to fix this but I don't know how besides inviting 10 toddlers over to play with him all morning. I just don't have then energy to stimulate him as much as the kids at daycare, apparently. I'm so happy he's going back to daycare today because that means he will most likely sleep well tonight.

Megan - 3.9 (she'll be 4 in a month...)  goes to bed around 9pm and wakes up at 6:30am (she sleeps til 7ish on the weekends though).  Her bedtime is all over the place though, if she naps less than a hour she goes to bed around 9 or 9:15, if she naps more than that she's up til 10, if she doesn't nap at all its more like 8:30.

Ryan - 2 (2 years and 2 months).  He goes to bed at 8 and is up at 6:30.  We wake him up though and he sleeps in longer on the weekends (7:30 ish).  He takes a 2hr afternoon nap.

  • Layna 3, bedtime is 8 - 8:30 and wakeup anywhere between 7 and 8:30.

  • DD is (almost) 21 months. She goes to bed around 7 and wakes up on her own 7-7:30 on weekends and I have to wake her up at 6:30 on weekdays.
  • M is 20 months old. She goes to bed at 7pm and wakes around 8-830am.
  • Ellie is 7.5 months and she's usually asleep by 7:15pm and awake at 7am on the dot.  She'll cry once during the night (usually at 5am) and we just give her the binky back and she'll sleep again.

  • Leo is 3 and Charlie is 2. We put them in bed between 7 and 7:30. They stay awake talking to each other for 30-45 minutes (that we know of, they might just get really quiet after that). They've been waking up around 7:30am lately.

  • Bed between 7:30-8, up between 6:30-7.
  • A - She is 5 (tomorrow) and goes to bed at 9 and wakes around 7:30

N - She is 18 months and goes to bed at 7:30 and wakes around 7:30

  • DS is 5 months and goes to bed between 6:30 and 7:15 depending on his last nap of the day.  He wakes for the day between 5:30 and 6:30.  If he is ready to go there is no amount of soothing or nursing to get him back to sleep.  Twice he has slept until 7:00 and DH was in heaven (I'm already at work then).  Until 3 weeks ago, he was waking twice a night.  Now he wakes many, many, many times.  Last night he actually slept for 6.5 hours straight but woke a lot after that.  Sigh.
  • i'll answer for school days,

#1 (5.9), bedtime 8-8:30, wakeup 7:15 (i have to wake him for school)

#2 (4) bedtime 8-8:30, wakeup 6:30-7 (this has vastly improved over the last yr or so)

#3 (2) bedtime 8-8:30, wakeup 4:30..5... 6...(usually not much later)...sucks!  my #2 did this too. yes his bedtime is late but he will not go to bed any earlier than his brothers. sometimes we can get bedtime closer to 7-7:30 w/#2 not napping anymore, but it does not change his wakeup time.

  • Normally, DD goes to bed between 8:30 and 9 and we wake her up in the morning around 6:15.

Over the break, she was staying up until 10-11 every night (and past midnight on NYE) and sleeping until 9:30-10.
  • DS is 22 months and goes to sleep between 7:30-8 and wakes between 7:30-8 (on a really good morning, even a little later). This has been his schedule for quite a while now.

  • My boys are put in bed at 8:30pm (doesn't mean they're asleep though, that usually comes by 9:15pm) and wake up around 7:45a, sometimes later, sometimes earlier.

They nap generally from 1:30ish til about 3:30ish.

  • DS is 3 and he goes to bed at 10pm and wakes about 8-9am.  He's on a late schedule because I work until midnight 5 nights a week, and if he's up any earlier than 7am I don't function too well.  I usually don't fall asleep until about 1-2am on nights I work and I need at least 7 hours of sleep.  He also still takes about a 3 hour nap a day.
  • B is 13 months and goes to bed at 8:00, wakes up at 9:00am. I only get about a hour nap outta her during the day.
