Umm... If you can grow a baby in your UTERUS you are not a man. I realize there was a sex change involved, but that is still not a "pregnant man". I'm sick of all the media attention. Am I the only one who feels this way?
definitely not the only one. I felt the same way the first time "he" was pregnant. Yes, it's a big story for that community, but he is not a biological man.

Did he go through a sex change operation? I thought he/she had his boobs removed and is taking testorone. He didn't want his uterus removed so he could have kids. (that sentence was weird)

I feel the same way. When a man who was born a man gets pregnant let me know.
Yes. Exactly. Oh, and who is the father? I'm confused by this. I don't mean the "father" in the relationship. I mean did they use a sperm donor? Does anyone know?
Oh, and I have the same blue blanket you have in your siggy pic.
If just saying you are something makes it so, then I'm 5'9" and 110 pounds...not going to happen.
LOL
Momma to three boys:

I'm really surprised by the insensitivity to the trans community being shown here. I agree that it is not newsworthy that someone with a uterus and ovaries became pregnant, but referring to him as a woman and making fun of his sexual identity is quite insensitive. I would have expected more tolerance from this board... though now that I think about it, I'm not sure why.

He can identify however he wants. I have no problem with that at all. But to push this damn story as "pregnant man" implying that someone born biologically a man, with sperm and a wang, got pregnant, is ridiculous.

It's not a lack of tolerance for transgender that this board is showing. It's a lack of tolerance for media whores. This "man" is trying to market him self as a man having a baby- this is not true. He's trying so hard to extend his 15 minutes of fame and it's getting annoying.

this is exactly how I feel about it as well.
I'm sick of hearing about the pregnant "man". He may act, live and identify as a man, but biologically he is still a woman and therefore, is not a medical marvel that needs media attention.

EXACTLY! If he actually identifies himself as a man, then he wouldn't want anything to do with carrying a baby in his body. He's just a big AW and it's beyond annoying.

So, I'm late on this, but just for the record, they said that he took hormones that lengthen his clitoris, which is similar to a penis...they said that they have sex that way, but I was watching another show (ahem...Dr 90210...hehe) and that doctor said that he would not be able to, well, insert the enlarged clitoris (make shift penis) into a vagina....
So while he still has a vagina, he also has...a...penis? I dunno. Just wanted to throw that out there.
I'm so so so annoyed with this whole thing. They are acting like it's a miracle that a man had a baby. He is a woman who has had her breast removed and is taking hormones and got pregnant. Any woman could do this so there is nothing special about it. And I feel like they are pregnant again just to keep their "celebrity status" going. They should not be receiving attention for this.

I totally agree. If you can have a baby grow inside of you no matter what your DL says you are a WOMAN. You may have had a partial sex change but you are still a woman if you can have a baby.
