Before I accept defeat?
The last nursing strike before his 1st birthday lasted about 4 days. He was still nursing in the AM, but refusing his bedtime session.
This strike is different because he's refusing it all together.
We've been down to two nursing sessions (AM/PM) for about a month and I noticed last week his morning session was getting shorter and shorter. He was down to 2min before he started refusing all together. I'm pumping to keep my supply going, but am only getting about an ounce which might explain why he's not interested anymore.
I really wanted to keep going through the cold and flu season, but I'm afraid he might be done this time, which I'm not prepared for.
Any advice?
Re: Nursing Strike - how long do I keep trying?
My DD went through a similar thing and I tried for about 5 days before I gave up. After I stopped trying to feed her she never asked again. Good luck.
