We've been having ridiculous sleep issues for the last month and a half or so (I'm more sleep deprived than I was when DS was a newborn, and that's with DH helping out now!), but things are finally getting better. However, we still have this issue: as soon as DS wakes up, he sits up, thus making himself more awake. So he can't soothe himself back to sleep, and we have to get him into a deep sleep before laying him back down (it's hard to not wake him up with the crib mattress on the lowest setting and my short arms...). He's usually only waking up 1-2 times per night now, but it takes 1-2 hours to get him back down each time. I'd hoped he would figure it out now... I wish I could swaddle him again! Advice???

Re: Sleep Help, Anyone?
We actually put the swing back up and dh has been using it to get Liam back to sleep at night. It's been working like a charm since I've been sick lately and not willing to have someone attached to me all night.
