Wow, that's an impressive freezer stash! I'd say send frozen milk until you know exactly how much he is consuming so you don't waste anything. You can always send extra fresh milk that you can freeze later if he doesn't drink it.

For the best immunity protection, its best to send what you pump the day before. I made the mistake of not rotating my stash, though and had to toss some.
A good rotating scheme is to freeze what you pump on Fridays and on Mondays, send at least a couple of bottles from your oldest milk.
I always sent what I pumped the day before, and had a small stash in the daycare freezer that they could use on days she ate more.

I have lots of frozen milk, but we have only been using fresh milk. I figured I was producing enough milk and there was no reason to dig into the stash, just keeping it for emergency.
Now I'm starting to rethink that. I like Laipale's advice....my older milk is getting to the point where I might be throwing some out if I don't use it...

That's what I do- each day that I pump, I send that milk to DC the next day. But on Fridays, I freeze what I pump and on Mondays, I thaw the oldest frozen milk. There have been times when I've noticed several bags nearing their expiration and I've used frozen milk a few days in a row so it wouldn't be wasted, so just keep an eye on the dates.

This is what we did and it was a pretty good system for us...

I like that system. I'll do that. I definitely don't want my frozen milk to go bad so I like that that uses it. What happens on days when you send fresh milk and he doesn't take it all? I guess she just uses it the next day?
Did you send it in bags or bottles? I gave my DCP a bunch of bottles to keep there and initially sent bags of the frozen milk. I guess I can just put the fresh milk in bags and send to her since she has the bottles?

If he didn't take all the fresh milk my mom would either freeze or use it the following day since it's good in the fridge for a couple of days.
I had storage bottles at my mom's that I put the fresh milk in, so I could take my Medela bottles home to be washed and sterilized. I dropped off the milk when I picked up DS. The frozen milk I just brought in the storage bags.
