Those of you with morning sickness?.when you feel like you are going to throw up, do you try to fend it off or do you just puke?I feel like when I just go ahead and throw up, I feel better temporarily but when I fend it off it just never subsides.
*knock on wood* I haven't had m/s with this pregnancy but with DD I'd just go vomit because there was no way to win that battle. I was vomiting for 5 weeks straight when I was pg with her.

I was never able to fight it off. If I felt that sick, the sick was going to come regardless of what I did. I have many recollections of throwing up on public transit with my son.
I think if you feel that sick and try to hold it in, you'll probably feel crappy for longer. At least I do. The level of discomfort was always higher if I ever tried to hold it than if I just got it over with and felt crappy later. The second wave of crap seemed less.
