Working Moms: Recommend your pump!

I am trying to do some early research. Last time I breastfed my DD I wasn't working FT, and pumping wasn't as important. My pump was slow, loud, and I didn't even bottle feed her very often anyway (I was SAHM).

Now I am PG w/ #2 and am trying to figure out which pumps are going to fit my needs. I work FT and will need efficiency and (possibly?) something on the quieter side.

Any recommendations or even warnings about certain brands and styles?

I'd go with either an Ameda or Medela. I have an Ameda Ultra at home and use a Medela Lactina at work, I like both of them.

I have the Ameda Purely Yours & have been happy with it. The motor makes some noise, but you can't hear it behind a closed door.

I also have the Ameda Purely Yours. It works well and is easy to clean. The only downside is the noisy - it is pretty loud. (Of course, I've never used another pump so maybe all are this loud?)

I love my Ameda. It's not very large, so you don't have to carry it in the bag it came it, and very easy to clean. At work its great not to have to put all of the pump parts together, it's all one unit. It may be a little on the noisy side, but nothing that a pillow can't fix.
