goody bags

What are you putting in goody bags for LO's bday party?

We're having about 10 kids at 5 of them are 18 months or younger. Right now I have bubbles. I was thinking of putting in crayons and a picture but I might change that to a beach ball. And then some candy (for the parents - I like when there's candy Embarrassed).

Re: goody bags

  • We are doing a sock monkey theme.  Our treat bags will be candy that is sock monkey colored.  Like rootbeer barrels, swedish fish, tootsie rolls.  There will also be a picture of DS.  We are not expecting any kids though.  If there are any, they will be old enough to have candy.

  • I just did mine last night.

I bought for the really tiny ones (less than 1y) a little duck shaped plate from Michael's ($1) and we have a Sesame Street theme so I put in Sesame Street sunglasses. I also got little hand clappers at Party City so I put one of them in there too I think so the parents can do it for them.

For the older kids (3 - 11) I did an activity book ($1 at Michaels) a box of crayons ($1 at Michaels), a bouncy ball (Party City), paper Sesame sunglasses, clappers (Party City), and candy (same as adults). We are having it at a restaurant so I wanted to give something to keep the kids busy.

For the adults, they got candy and are getting a picture of LO too. I just bought the giant bags of assorted candy (gum, lollipops, now & laters, pixy sticks, candy cigarettes, snack size chocolate bar, and a big giant lollipop).
