One of hubby's friends' wife just had her baby yesterday. A beautiful baby girl! Everyone is doing well and they posted a bunch of photos on facebook for everyone to share their joy. Problem: she was born via C-section (failed induction at 41 wks) and they posted VERY graphic pix of the actual surgery.
I'm sorry, but I don't think this is any more/less tasteful that showing your bloody vagina on facebook. It's a beautiful moment- something you should keep in your baby album forever- tucked away in a drawer in your own house- NOT ON MY NEWSFEED THAT I SEE WHILE I HAVE MY MORNING COFFEE!!!!!
Anyone disagree?
Re: YIKES! (re: FB)
I don't want my in-erds on facebook, but I used to work with some graphic blood & guts stuff working as a vet tech, so it wouldn't bother me.
...so is it bad that I want to see this picture to actually see how bad it is?

I almost posted one, but a) it defeats the purpose of my post (don't want you ladies yacking during your lunch break!) and b) i'm all about privacy. I'd be pissed if someone shared a pic of mine like that (although i'd never post it, so idk?)
ETA: there are a few- one of her being cut, one of the "slit" being stretched open, one of the baby being pulled out, and another of the baby where you can see the big bloody opening- in-erds 'n' all just hanging out in the background.
I'm not easily grossed out, but I had to close out of the photos to keep my laptop clean
