Hospital/Dr. Recommendation in Manhattan

Good Afternoon and Happy New Year.

 

My husband and I will begin TTC in the next couple of months.   I had to change health insurance as of Jan 1 and unfortunately my Ob/Gyn whom I LOVE is not covered.  Therefore, I'm beginning a search for a new one.

Any recommendations on preferred docs and hospitals?

    Hey there! I've been really happy with my doctor so far. Her name is Dr. Shrivastava and she's with West Care Medical Associates on 77th and CPW. I'm not familiar with the rest of the doctors in the practice and they are affiliated with St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. Unfortunately I don't have much info to share on the hospital.

    I will say I've heard great things about the birthing center at St. Luke's but my doctor does not deliver in the birthing center. 

     If you are interested in the birthing center be sure to find a obgyn or midwife that delivers there from the get-go.
