So I got out of the shower, cramping subsiding and starting to destress. I've been so anxious being 3cm dilated and fully effaced yet contractions are off and on.... so anyhow, I'm finally feeling back to semi-normal and I walk into my cat "Ninja" getting in my receipt bag digging around, (nothing new he likes to jump in the paper) but only this time I see how serious he's looking and not moving at all... realizing what's going on I yell for DH and beggin for him to hurry but all he can do is start laughing his butt off as he comes in and can't get the cat to move. I don't think I've heard him that laugh that much since before the pregnancy and I can't help but laugh as well. Sucks for our paperwork but it was great to see DH so amused. Anyhow, we finally get Ninja out and DH runs to take him to the litter and BAM he runs right back and tries to get back in the bag. wth?!?! Kitty gone wild, lord. Now what do I do with my bag of paperwork with cat pee?!? As I type this DH has already reset his litter box and Ninja has finally used it and DH going through the bag laughing and Ninja is STILL trying to get in the bag. He has never done this before and we are both floored. I seriously think DH's belly is going to hurt later. I think if God wanted to get my mind off the pregnancy he's done a good job!
Re: God using Ninja to make us smile
We dont have any cats because DH is allergic. but growing up I had cats. I really really tried hard to be mad whenever one of them pee'd on something they were not supposed to but...
That classic, serious, intent, look a cat gets when it squats to pee/poo on something they shouldnt is just sooooo funny!
At least when a dog is peeing or pooing where they arent supposed to they look and act ashamed while doing it.
And if it's my dog, Hans, as soon as he's finished he tries to get as far way from it as his leash will allow, acting as if HE didn't do it!
