I've been away for a few weeks, but I saw your post below about WCM and alternatives.
One of my guys will not drink his speciality formula because of the way it tastes. He has to be on it due to milk protein sensitivity. Anyway, his nutritionist suggested we try almond or rice milk just to keep his suck, swallow, breathe reflex active. (This was our major hang-up in the NICU.)
We've added almond milk twice a day. He loves it! It has 2x the calcium as WCM & it's lactose and dairy free. The only drawback is that it's low in calories -- 90 calories per 8 oz cup.
