I'd put money on this one being a girl

Seriously.  I realize all pregnancies are different and your second is bound to be different than your first but I can't but help speculate that this is a girl (even though we're on the green team).

With DS my only complication was GD.

With this LO, I had a very rocky start from all the spotting/cramping/crappy bloodwork/sonos to now placenta previa.  I tested neg for the GD for now (retest at 26 weeks) and I'm having all these food cravings that I didn't have with DS.  It's like the exact opposite for everything.

So when this one is born and it's a girl, she'll definitely have some explaining to do and I'm already considering grounding until she's 18 for all this drama.  Stick out tongue

Pardon me for being a post whore this morning.  Work is slow.Embarrassed

  • I think that DH is considering grounding my DD until she's 18 out of sheer terror that she'll meet a boy ;-) So, who knows? Your DH may enforce that rule as well;-)

I have nothing to compare it to but i'm having the time of my life with DD - hope you get a little girl so that you get to see both sides of the coin!

    Yep, this :)

I was 100% sure DS was a boy.  I was about 90% sure this one was a girl.  I think the 10% came from a few friends telling me they swore they were carrying a baby of another gender the second time around because of how unbelievably different the two pregnancies were, only to then find out the gender was the same the second time around.

that was my mom exactly.  She of course did not have sonos and when she has my younger brother her pregnancies were exactly the same...she SWORE it was going to be another girl, she even let my dad choose the boy name, thinking they woudl never need it..low and behold I have a younger brother:-) we did not find out with DS and I knew from day 1 he was a boy...crazy!!!
