How do you say "praline"

Pray-leen or prah-leen? I say it pray-leen and have never heard it the other way but had a whole bunch of friends from Louisiana making fun of me for saying it that way and not prah-leen. So dragonfly, I already know your Louisiana answer!

    i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

    HAHA! It really depends on my mood. I  had to work really hard on my accent for college doing radio and such and learned to say pray-leen instead of prah-leen and I interchange them now.

    Prah-leens in this house.  I just doubled checked with my H (born and raised in nola) and he agrees.  They are made from puh-cahns, not pee-cans.

    I say PRAH-LEAN, and hate, hate, HATE when people say PRAY-LEAN. But, I am biased because I worked for Aunt Sally's Praline Shop in New Orleans for several years :)
