We bought a sleeper sofa at jc penny. We were so excited to have a spot for family to sleep. It's really sad to say, but no one will sleep on it. The thing is terrible, avoid jc penny.

There is one at room and board that I like, but there isn't a local store. I don't think.

There's a Room & Board in San Francisco - love their stuff. We have a couple sofas from them, but not sleepers.

I feel like we need to plan a trip up. I have a table and put pieces in clients houses in my former life, I'm a fan of them.

I really wanted an American Leather sleeper based on a lot of research last year, but we couldn't spend that much money. We settled on a much cheaper (read: less comfortable) option and purchased a nice memory foam topper for it that we keep in the closet until we need it. We've had several guests sleep on it, and they say it's quite nice.

Depending on the size you're looking for, Scandinavian Design's Stockdale sleeper is good. I think it's only a full size bed though (love seat).
