boy or girl?!

Hi Ladies,

I am having my second child this summmer, due on July 12. I am currently 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I had an utrasound today and I'm curious to see some opinions on what you think this baby is? I know it's really too soon to tell, but all opinions are welcome, it's really just for fun at this point

I have a 16 month old son, and I just can't wait to find out whether he will be getting a baby brother or sister!

Congratz! I had my first ultrasound yesterday and my due date is July 11th xD I cant wait to find out if my baby is a boy or girl, this is my first pregnancy so I'm super excited ^^

First, let me say that I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and it's reassuring to see that 'it' definitely becomes more human, LOL.

Hmmm, I don't see anything so I'm gonna go with GIRL!

If you could choose, do you want a little sister? My FI has a 15yo daughter so, of course of course, he just wants a healthy baby but he'd also like a boy.

They have women on there who can take guesses on what they think. Everyone guessed boy based on my scan in my last pregnancy and they were correct. You can look at other "Confirmed" scans to see if yours is similar. You have a great picture so go try it out. Good luck

And by 108 weeks pregnant you should definitely be able to tell whether or not you have a boy or a girl on your hands. Good luck with that.

now i remember why i don't post on these boards anymore, everyone is rude. just rying to take a few minutes out of a hectic day to have some fun!!! by the way, that ticker was from my last pregnancy, and unlike the rest of you rude a*holes, i haven't had time to update it. get a life and grow up.

Oh come on. You've got to realize that there is no earthly way anyone would be able to tell from that picture whether it's a boy or a girl.

I can tell, but I'm too much of a rude a-hole to share.

I'm not trying to be rude but do you have a different ultrasound pic of between the baby's legs? If not, how are we suppose to guess if it's a boy or girl?

If you really want my guess from that picture, then I'll go team blue, congrats, you are having a boy!

listen, this is my first night on these boards since i was pregnant with my first child (over 16 months ago). i was just trying to enjoy the moment and have some fun with it. i don't appreciate the sarcastic commentary, and I am also fully aware that you really can't tell at this point in the pregnancy (as i stated in my original post). my mistake for thinking that there were some other girls out there who might like to just have some innocent fun and take guesses. I would never be offended by someone posting something like that, so I'm not sure why it is necessary for some of you to act like you are all smarter than me, etc. Seriously, you have no idea about me, who I am or anything about my life, so I don't think any type of rudeness or sarcasm is necessary. I do have a few free hours to myself, and thought I'd write a lighthearted post for fun while I do some work from home... guess not. People should just try to be a little nicer, it really doesn't hurt.

As far as the u/s image goes- I'm sure it's fun to have people guess, but like the pps have pointed out, it's not even the right angle for anyone to make a guess. Only a couple more months and you'll know what you're having

Thank you- i've wanted to say this to rude people before too! All I can say is remember we all have pregnancy crazy running through our blood! From your U/S i'd say boy! I'm not very good at this though- with my first I said mine was a girl!

I thought that website you posted a link to was really interesting! It was fun to see so many 12 week ultrasounds in one place where the boy/girl was later confirmed.

Personally, I think the u/s you posted looks the exact same in terms of "angle" as all the ones on that site and it looks like that little nub is more horizontal than vertical, so I'd go with girl.
