Hello Ladies,
Another old wives tale involves correlating the baby's heartbeat with the gender.
Today, my baby's heartbeat was a beautiful 158...any guesses on gender?
BTW, this is just for fun:) I obviously won't find out the sex until later on, but it's just fun to think about!
Cheers!!!
Re: Baby HB and Gender?
OWT says girl, but my "boy" I am pregnant with now has a normal HR of 135.
My mom was just telling me the other day that when she was pregnant with my younger brother, the DOCTORS told her they were almost positive it was a boy because of the heart rate. Mine, comparatively, had been much higher when she had been pregnant with me. They were right! It makes me wonder if your first child is kind of the "base line" and then future children follow after - like if you have a boy first, then got pregnant with a girl, her heartbeat would be higher, even if it wasn't necessarily higher than 140. Who knows - it's fun to guess and see if it's right!
Here is a study that was done with 1,000 mothers to show if this OWT is true. Turns out it's just and OWT...
