I weighed in today at: 161, up .5 from last week. I am surprised that I didn't lose weight from the massive barfing session I had after babymillie's NYE party, but whatevs.
Let's talk about the future:
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
I will start logging again on MFP. I've been neglecting my pal.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
I think mine is my clothing size. I am wearing pants today that gave me major muffin top when I bought them a few months back and this morning they are a little big. I feel great! Also, DH is great at telling me I am looking slimmer. He's a great motivator.
Re: Aiight, fatties. Let's do this. Weight loss check in!
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
I'm going to stop feeling like I've failed/cheated when DH cheats on our diet. I'm motivated to get healthy and it'll only hurt me to tie my success to his. I'll keep providing him the tools he needs, he can choose to use them or not.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
My first goal was to lose 25 lbs, I'm down 12 so far. After I hit that one I'll be aiming for the high end of what the internet says my ideal body weight should be: 143.
I weighed in today at 155. I was up to 159 after Christmas. Three days of dying from strep throat brought me down to 152. Recovery brought me back up to 155.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
I'm going to start working out again and eating healthier and less. My meals are healthy and loosely based off a clean-eating lifestyle. Its the snacking that kills me.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
Ultimate goal is 130 lbs or a size 6/8.
I weighed myself last Wednesday and realized I had not lost one pound since I left the hospital 5 months ago. No bueno. I clipped on my fitbit and started paying attention to what I was eating again. By Sunday morning I was down about a pound, but its hard to tell because my scale is wonky. I can take 3 measurements in a minute and they can be up to a lb off from each other. So I just average them.
1- Changes- No more sodas or artificial sweeteners. I would say no caffeine but I have a cup of tea every afternoon at work. No more friggin diet coke and aspartame, though. Also, I'm going to hit my step and stair count every day, or not go to bed until I do. After my birthday I'll be at no added sugar, but I want cake and I didn't want to have to break my fast just 2 weeks in. I know better than to think I can have sugar in moderation. It just doesn't work like that for me.
2- Goals- I'd like to be in a size 8 waist again, like I was when I got married, before we TTC #2. I may not get there though, because now I have hips that I never had before. I'd like my shirts to button and to get rid of all the back fat that is the current bane of my existence. That's about 30-40lbs away right now, and I'll need to gain some muscle. I'm using weight right now to measure my progress, but it will be a happy day when I can wear my old pants again and aren't stuck in the same pair every day.
I will track every bite of food in my Weight Watchers tracker. I will drink MORE water and less Diet Coke.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
My ultimate goal is to have a BMI of <26. That means a target weight of between 155 -165. At that weight, I'll probably be hitting a 10 or 12 (thank you vanity sizing!) I'm doing Weight Watchers so I use the scale as well as how my clothes fit as a measure of progress.

What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
I will start logging on MFP and tracking my food?and I left my food journal public so any of you guys can look at it and see why I?m such a fatty?ain?t hiding it! But WTF?I ordered chocolate covered almonds before my maternity leave from my boss? nieces girl scouts?she gave them to me today and I?ve been snacking because I?m waiting on my lead to get out of a meeting! What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
my ultimate goal is for my pre-pregnancy clothes to fit better. they 'fit' but it ain't pretty under there. most of them are 5 years old at this point but i may never have my previous budget for jeans ever again. lol
I weighed in this morning at 145.0, down 0.4 lbs from before the holidays. And i can only thank breastfeeding for that, because i sure ate enough to gain 10 lbs and didn't move a muscle, unless it was to go refill my wine glass.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
I will be tracking everything i eat on mfp, and made my food diary public to hopefully add some accountability to what goes in my mouth. i also am going to double my water intake, i've been totally slacking on that.
Also, I'm goign to try to walk during lunch at work. I tried running when i first came back, and it just took too long to shower, etc, so with walking have no excuse. just put my tennis shoes on and walk.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
My target weight is 135, 130 maybe, if i can maintian that weight without depriving myself too much. I'll also take measurements, but for me, the scale is my best measurement tool.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
I'm going to focus on bringing all of my food to work for lunch and snacks. I've got it planned out so that breakfast, lunch and snacks are the same all week. I'll just change up dinners, which we have planned for the week. They're not necessarily the lowest in calories, but we need to get back in the groove of cooking again.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
My ultimate goal is 30 lbs; I'd be happy there, and that should get me back down to a size 6 or size 8. I would love 35 or 40, however, but I don't want to be hungry. And I'm not getting any younger, so my guess is that it will be harder to do now. Ha!
I weigh in on Fridays and it was 158.8. I will thank the stomach bug for a little bit of a kick in the pants before Christmas:)
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
Can I join in on this group? Like SarahPLiz, I haven't lost a pound since leaving the hospital 5 months ago, either. I have been eating like a cow because I am always hungry. Unfortunately, pregnancy gave me a wicked sweet tooth and it has not gone away. I haven't gained any weight since birth, but I can tell the sweets are hitting me b/c my pants are back to fitting and no longer loose.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
I started tracking food on Sparkpeople this morning. I had great success with this in the past. MIL sent a bunch of brownies to me through DH's BFF this weekend and I am bringing them up to work tomorrow. I can't have them at home or I will chow down.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
I want to lose 40 pounds. I looked good, and felt great, at that weight in the past. I am using the scale and old clothes to measure my progress.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
Go home from Austin .. Haha. I'm pretty sure I've gained those 3 lbs it took me so long to lose! But really - I'm changing my eating patterns to include more vegetables and to eat more in the Paleo fashion.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
I want to lose 7 lbs of fat. I can gain muscle, but the fat has to go. It'll show by less muffin top over pants.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
Im back on track this morning. I wasnt horrible over the break, but with all the traveling I didnt count calories. I have planned out meals for the week, and already have lunches measured out!
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
My goal right now is 30 lbs. That will get me back to most of my fun wardrobe.. and when I looked forward to shopping. I weigh weekly on Monday mornings for MFP so that I can see how the progression or lack of
Im findyourwayhomeinaustin on mfp if anyone wants to friend me. And for what its worth I love the MFP app so much more then the WW app.
Never ever going to admit to how much I actually weigh it's just way too embarrasing... but I will admit I'm down 2 pounds since I started being good last week-- and that includes all the alcohol I consumed this weekend.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
Logging all my food.... this always helps so much. Even the handful of m&m's I grab in the office. I'm also planning to go to the gym every morning I seem to do better if I don't want to "waste" my workout in the morning.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
Just to get back to feeling better. I want my clothes to fit, I want to have more energy, and I want to go into future pregnancies not worried about the weight gain.

What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress? My ulitmate goal is to be healthy and be able to keep up with the boys. My target weight is 150-160 and size 8. the scale and my sisters clothes. She is also losing weight so whenever she cleans out her closet i get the clothes that are all a size smaller than I am in now.
Peer pressure works. You guys have me logging on MFP again. Same screenname as here if you want to be friends.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
Not eat out as much. Over the holidays DH and I indulged in way too many lunches and dinners out. That comes to a screeching halt right now.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
In the short term, I want to finish my half marathon training program so I'll be prepared for 3M and Livestrong. In the longer term, I want to be leaner and gain some muscle. I'm at a weight I'm happy with, but I still feel doughy. I'm upping my strength training in the new year.
I'm down 4.5lbs this week. I started my candida detox last Tuesday and I've made it a full week, 4 more to go. I never thought I could do this but it finally came to a point where something had to be done and I could tell my body wasn't functioning right. I can already tell my energy levels are so much better and just my mood in general is better. We'll see how the rest goes. If anyone is interested in learning more about it I'm doing it with the help of my chiro's office Backbo ne in north Austin.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
Just sticking to the detox. The next three days are the water/lemon/maple syrup only days, so that's kinda scary right now.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress? My long term goal is in 70-80 pounds range. The true goal will just being comfortable in my body and being happy with the way clothes fit. I also want to continue eating healthy after my detox is complete. I do plan eating diary, red meat, and sugar again just in moderation and organic.
I'm not posting my weight on here but you can see it in my blog so it's not very private. I am pissed at myself for gaining so much over the holidays. I'm worse than where I started after the holidays last year. Ugh.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
This week I am starting to track my food again in MFP. I also plan to walk the neighborhood at least 3 times. Next week, we're back to clean eating and I'm quitting the diet sodas (again!).
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
I want to lose 40 pounds. I also want to get back into all the size 10 pants that I just moved out of my closet. I'm using the scale and measuring my waist to track progress.
The Blog
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress? My long term goal is to lose body fat and gain muscle. I hope that will mean losing 25 or so pounds. I like to use clothes to measure progress.
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
I just started MFP so I'm hoping to track all of my food/exercise on that.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
My ultimate goal is to lose the 20 pounds I've put on. That will get me back down to my WW goal weight. I weigh in on Monday mornings.
I'd like to lose 20-25 pounds. That doesn't sound like much, but I'm short and every pound shows. I feel like such a fatty. I was mentally ready to be gung ho about eating well/exercising after the New Year, but failed to prepare regarding having good food in the house, all the sweets banished, I failed to have a plan or any kind of workout schedule... I need to feel organized in order to really be motivated, so that's one goal for this week.
I plan to drink more water and hope to get in 4 workouts this week. You know, because I just had Jardin for lunch with a big ole Dr. Pepper and it was awesome. It's hard to follow that up with water.
My ultimate goal is a target weight. I also know that I need to include strength training to tone up, to be satisfied with how my clothes fit.
Hmm. I'm not a calorie counter/food tracker kind of person. Would MFP be helpful if one just planned to track exercise and water intake?
What change will you make this week to encourage weigh loss or healthy eating?
No more junk food/fast food/gluttonous deserts! My kitchen WILL BE FUNCTIONAL TODAY! I'm ecstatic and SO tired of microwave food and eating out. This will make a huge difference. Also, I need to get back in MFP. It really, really helps.
What is your ultimate goal? Is it a target weight? A target size? What are you using to measure your progress?
My goal is to get back to my wedding day size. It's still a whopping 60 pounds over my pre-DH weight, but I was a size 0 and super unhealthy at that point. On our wedding day, I was in excellant shape, and I think at a good natural point for my body. Sadly, I was wrong about not gaining weight over the holidays. I'm up 10 pounds, 7 of which from the holidays. I'm still down 7 from the beginning of MFP, but I need to get back on the bandwagon.
